Danish jazz-trio Lars Winther Trio has grown increasingly well-known on the European jazz-scene during the past years, especially with the release of the 2nd album, "Nordic By Nature" in 2007. The trios sound is founded in their nordic roots of lyrical, sometimes romantic, harmonies and melodies - but is spiced up with elements of both rock, latin, free and traditional jazz. The triomembers all seek out the posibilities in their instruments and uses, a.o., prepared piano, syntheziser, bass-loops and percussion - all in an organic symbiosis with the traditional trio-sound.

Nordic By Nature recieved favorable reviews in most of the world, and has brought the trio around Europe for showcases and other concerts by invitation. Lars Winther (piano/synth), Andreas Hatholt (double bass), Sebastian Trolle (dr/perc).
